Master Bath Makeover

brief warning- horrible photography

If I was challenged with the task of coming up with just one word to describe my master bathroom...it would be...small..as in wee...

There has never really been anything to it...

It's basically a tiny sink, a toilet and a smallish shower stall. Previous owners brought in new tile and a new vanity/sink/mirror combo. It needed to be livened up. So...
Hubby bought new, cool baseboard- that we plan to do the whole house in eventually (someday you'll get to see it), some beadboard and some really simple trim- he actually customized something else to become the chair rail I was envisioning.
I picked out my paint color- if you know me at all, you know that this is my color! I started painting...

Then hubby worked on painting the beadboard the perfect shade of white for me. He made his cuts, measured the base and created the custom trim for chair rail.

Shortly thereafter it all came together, and here we have our livened up masterbath- small and all.

Shower curtain is from Urban Outfitters- mom helped by cutting down and sewing up one side of it to fit the itsy shower.

The artwork is a little something that I created. I knew I wanted something fun, with lots of white to lighten the top half of the room. I can't take credit, I copied the idea from the very talented Jen Ramos of Made By Girl. Check out her Etsy shop.

I would like to add some sort of art to the blank wall above the beadboard. But I'm having a hard time figuring out just what. The heater vent is really crampin' my style...thoughts?
