Back to Katie and Wes' kitchen... We've got great potential here. We need to start with a color scheme, decide if we will change any of the existing kitchen and tie everything together while keeping in mind the openness of the great room.
Reminder of what exists:
First things first, do we have any paint on the wall? Well, we need it. Did you pick one of the khakis that I suggested? Gray, Green or Gold Khaki? That huge back wall will dramatically change with a couple coats of paint. You aren't busy this weekend are you Wes? What about Katie- you're on summer break from school! Get crackin!
There is a whole slew of projects to follow, so this is a good start. In all reality if you buy paint and supplies on Friday after work, tape off cabinets, window, corners and light fixture on Friday night, Saturday brings painting. Do it in the summer in the heat and it will dry in no time at all. After the second coat, you may have some touch ups. By 12noon you're ready for the next job!
Next job coming soon!
This is so exciting. I hope Katie and Wes take your advice and "get crackin"....The color choices are fab and it will make such a difference in that room. Heat is such a great paint dryer.
